About Us
Newport Pets is located in Newport, Wales. We are open 5 days a week with easy access from M4 and free car park.
We offer a wide range of birds and small animals and everything you would need for them. Cages, toys, food, accessories etc.
We breed and hand rear a wide variety of birds e.g. Lovebirds, Linnies, Parrotlets, Cockatiels, Amazon’s, African Greys to name just a few.
Dog food from well known brands as well as our own label. Harnesses, toys and supplements. We have our very own Canine Nutritionist available at most times to provide you with free advice.

We have a good variety of aviary bred birds in our bird room. From time to time we also have hand reared, silly tame birds.

DOG GROOMING
Thorunn qualified as a Professional Dog Groomer from the London Academy of Grooming in 2005. The same year she founded The Dog Salon, a grooming parlour and pet shop in Bristol, along with her husband. In 2008 they sold it as family reasons meant they had to move back to Iceland. Thorunn kept on working as a Dog Groomer in Iceland for few years or until she realised how much she missed the UK and decided to move back in 2012.
Thorunn is a devoted animal lover and aim to offer you and your dog(s) a friendly and reliable services.
